Earl MacDonald and Son Transport Limited is a family owned business that was founded in 1943 by Earl MacDonald.
Earl later left the business to his son, Donald MacDonald. When Don passed away, he left the business to his sons, Paul and Jim MacDonald.
Currently, Paul MacDonald, grandson of Earl, owns Earl MacDonald and Son Transport Limited.
In 1943, MacDonald Transport consisted of one stake truck that locally transported grains and logs to local farms and businesses.
In 1955, the business bought it’s first tractor trailer and began to transport livestock. In the 1980’s, MacDonald Transport expanded its traveling destinations and began to travel throughout the United States and Canada to deliver livestock.
To date, MacDonald Transport has over 35 trucks that utilize livestock trailers, van trailers and flatbeds to transport goods all over North America for its customers.
